But instead it just displayed the time,1: Sumire is in love with an older, married woman and it’s all so sneakily dramatic because no one wants to say how they feel.

I think it was Murakami’s Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World that described the chick as looking good like playing a best friend of the lead in a movie. Sputnik Sweetheart, while not as wonderful an experience as the two aforementioned works, was quite a bit of quick fun. The the wordplay of Murakami and the ideas he expresses make the book worth reading through to the end.

Nicht mein liebster Murakami! I have lots of questions to be ask and hey, he made his book complicated he added a lot of scenes that I find it not relevant to the story, that’s the reason why I wanted to ask questions before complaining. Perhaps this is the reason that this is one of the few books I can read in Japanese. Sumira meets Miu, a successful business woman, at a wedding and falls in love with her.

Sometimes I think that’s the only right thing to do. The writing so perfectly captured life and all the associated emotions.

That’s the beautiful thing about not always understanding what the hell anyone means.
