Damn, perhaps I’m just a dullard. I have not seen the Netflix series.
Hemlock Grove by Brian McGreevy book review
If you want to read a werewolf book with a real edge, this is not one I would recommend. I had no idea this book was going to go most of the places that it went, and I failed to catch even the giant broad hints it threw at me.
I saw the potential for a good story in the show. For those who asks: When the moon breaks through the clouds, a terrifying fever grips him. She is pregnant by someone she calls an angel and though she initially doesn’t like Peter, finds herself attracted to him, and then geove she loves him.
Shelley runs off, not to be seen again. The biggest problem for me are the occasional asides that break the fourth wall. Shelly runs off into the night and Roman is just standing there, holding the sooper special axe, doing nothing but looking stupid.
Jun 14, Tommy rated it it was amazing. Not a book I would recommend for sensitive readers.

They are so often frustrating and distracting that it robs the novel of whatever interest it might have. Scene with a cat that grrove be distressing to sensitive readers. Seriously, there was fist pumping involved. Jun 08, Book Riot Community added it. The events are told through several characters perspectives. And just when you think something awesome is going to happen the “video” seems to skip and you are l I’ve marked this as To-Read but now that I am half way through the Netflix Series based on the book I am having second thoughts.
He,lock is an entire book of what-the-fuckery. There were a couple of times when, in a liminal state on the hammock, a vision would come to him of a snake, a Bible black serpent slowly and sensually consuming itself by the tail. The characters who work at the biotech firm use terms that are also never explained, leaving entire chapters incomprehensible.
Feb 06, Victoria rated it did not like it Shelves: Paradoxically, although I want to read this book again for the first time, Bemlock also want to read it again for the second time, knowing what I now know.
So if you have a spare moment, please tell us your thoughts by writing a reader’s review. And it didn’t make a lot of sense either.

It is compulsively readable nonsense. You better understand the characters, in the series, if you read the book. They alternate between speaking at a level of language far beyond the ken of any gdove I’ve ever met and a semi retarded mishmash of colloquial teenage slang.
