Hi all, Dose anyone know if it is possible to download a user manual for a Jessops AFD Flashgun (Canon fit). I have e-mailed Jessops but. (Manual mode on your camera would be a different thing but don’t worry about that for now). So go ahead and give it a go .of course I may. Hi hope you can help? I have two jessops afd flash guns that I am using off camera. Using the optical trigger in slave mode everything.

On the bad side: Here is the instructions for the Jessops AFD flashgun kindly supplied by a very nice man tyanton. You are on a roll here Will. Please assign your manual to a product: It also has a backlit LCD control panel, but the light source is at the left edge of the panel, making the right edge quite dim. Can someone tell me in plain English evn how to get it to work when on the hot shoe? Perhaps check majual your local Jessops store to see if it’s still compatible with your current camera though as it says it’s compatible “with most Nikon digital SLR’s” it’s my feeling it SHOULD still work with your D?????????

If the has an A mode non TTL this should work ok, otherwise it will only work in manual if it has a manual mode. Enabling the optical slave function disables power-save mode, so it works fine as an optical slave.

The build quality isn’t great it has a plastic shoe rather than metal and the recycle time is pretty sluggish. Ill 36a0fd under these other names.
Flash guns for complete idiot
We may need better triggers mate? Pressing any button on the rear, or half-pressing the camera’s shutter when it is mounted in the camera’s hot-shoe wakes it up again. A real big thank you to you guys for getting that to me now i know how to use it!!
